So the weaning process is taking off. He can now go down for naps and bedtime with out nursing to sleep. The only problem now is that he wakes up earlier in the morning because he is hungry and wants to nurse in the mornings now instead of at night. At least it is a start. I figure it might be easier to wean the morning desire for nursing then the night time which he has down now yipeeeee!!!!!. Hopefully we will get to the point where he won't even think about wanting to nurse. I have a little less the 2 months to get him to that point. Then he will have no choice as I will be leaving to go back to Canada for a few days and he will not be coming with me. Oh Well he needs to learn  somehow. Still working on the potty training. Just trying to get him use to the potty first before we start the actually training. Anyone have any great ideas?

Weaning

Trying to get Henry to stop nursing has been a challenge. I am not sure of how to do this. I am thinking the Nursing is more of a comfort for him then a need. He can eat everything and he does but he still refuses to drink Milk or anything else beside water out of his sippy cup. He will drink some juices if it is out of a big persons glass. Any Suggestions would be appreciated. I am thinking of just cutting him off except for naps and bedtime for now. I figure he will learn not to depent on me that way. I don't know does that seem mean? Well the joys of Motherhood. I love them but sometimes it is hard.

Potty Training

Henry Turned 18 Mths on friday. Let the Potty training begin. Some people tell me I am crazy but I am ready to take the time to train him. The beauty of being a Stay-at-home MOM is that I have lots of time to work with him. Lets see how this goes.
